The Meta of the Month (December 2022)

Last week we made a survey on Reddit (r/Epic Seven) to collect data on the current PvP meta in Epic Seven's World Arena (mid-way through the Triumph season). 

It was interesting to see how the RTA meta has changed from last season, and the differences between higher ranks and lower ranks.

Hopefully you might find this helpful if you want to know what heroes are popular in right now, and what other people are pre-banning and first-picking.

Admittedly the sample size is quite small, so take everything with a grain of salt. I'd like to thank everyone who participated, and hope to make more of these in the future.

 

About the Survey

  • Survey period: 12/25/22 - 12/27/22
  • 69 Respondents (4 Legend, 10 Emperor, 9 Challenger, 13 Master, 2 Gold, 2 Silver, 2 Unranked)
  • Players were asked for their most first-picked hero, their 2 most pre-banned heroes, and up to 5 additional heroes that they commonly draft when playing RTA seriously. They were also asked which hero they hated playing against the most so far in this season.
  • Results are split into two groups: (1) "Champ, Emp, Legend" and (2) "Challenger & Below" in order to see the differences between the meta and higher versus lower ranks.
